Internet Wormhole
Been distracting myself on the internet today looking up an assortment of chained-together topics on CNC milling then Python coding then C++ coding then multiplexers and demultiplexers then shift registering which finally lead me to BOOLEAN EQUATIONS.

When I was younger, I heard my high school’s jazz band* play Dizzy Gillespie’s “Manteca,” an afro-cuban jazz song that he wrote in 1947. The song has a great hook, but is a showcase for an incredible percussion section, and usually has a great dual timbalis solo as well as a trumpet solo.
